Ensemble Polywerk
Ensemble Polywerk Zurich is a contemporary music ensemble based in Zurich specializing in the performance of works with electronics and electroacoustic works. The ensemble is comprised of international soloists and composers from the Zurich area and is partially made up of former students of the Zurich University of the Arts (Züricher Hochschule der Künste, or ZHdK) and of renowned musicians from the contemporary music scene in Switzerland.
The members are prize winners of various national and international competitions and regularly play in important Festivals, such as the Lucerne Festival.
Ensemble Polywerk was founded in 2016 by former students of the ZHdK and often work in cooperation with the internationally renowned Institute for Computer and Sound Technology of the ZHdK.
